I’m a redstone expert and unfortunately I just don’t do survival mode, but I can offer excellent tutorials for amazing redstone and contraption hacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sticky piston T – flip flop<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is an on-off switch from a button; pretty awesome, hey?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will need:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • 2 sticky pistons<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 1 redstone block<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 1 button<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 1 redstone dust<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 2 redstone repeaters<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 3 blocks of your choice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    1. First, place a block with a button on the side and redstone dust on the top.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Next, put a sticky piston with a block on top next to it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Then, place another block next to that, with the first repeater on it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Now, put a sticky piston in front of the repeater.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. On that sticky piston, place a redstone block .<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Finally, link the T-flip flop to your redstone contraption and you can even activate it with arrows if you have a wooden button!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Piston door<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      A basic essential for every Minecrafter’s house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      You will need:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      • 2 sticky pistons<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • 2 pressure plates<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • 4 blocks of your choice<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • 1 redstone torch<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • 11 redstone dust<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Cladding of your choice<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Grass<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        1. First, place 2 pressure plates either side of where you want your door to be.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Next, underneath the pressure plates, dig a trench 4 blocks along to the left.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Now, place redstone dust all along the trenches.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Join the trenches and fill all except the middle block with redstone dust.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        5. In the middle, put a block of your choice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        6. On the block, place a redstone torch<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        7. On that redstone torch, place another block of your choice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        8. On that, put 1 redstone dust.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        9. Now, put sticky pistons facing away from it on the side of the block with the redstone dust on.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        10. On the sticky side of the pistons, place 2 more blocks of your choice.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          You now have a functioning door. Just cover the trenches, clad it nicely and don’t forget to toast; Me!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
